What would you do?

  • Responsible for various activities in RTR – including reconciliation, journal entries, Inter co; Bank recons & month end related activities and providing guidance & training to other team members. The Record to Report team helps clients and organizations in their operational efficiency and balance sheet integrity, cuts time to close and safeguards compliance with regulatory requirements. The areas where this team's expertise lies is in posting journal entries, preparing balance sheet reconciliations, reviewing entries and reconciliations, preparing cash forecasting statement, supporting month end closing, preparing reports and supports in audits. The Balance Sheet Reconciliations team focuses on balance sheet analysis which involves evaluating all balance sheet accounts against sub-ledger or other non-general ledger-based source data. The role requires a good understanding of P&L accounts, general ledger, bookkeeping, journal entry, voucher entry, trial balance, and month-end reporting.

Excellent PC application skills and knowledge of computerised accounting systems. ? Ability to work under pressure & flexibility to meet demanding deadlines essential. ? Flexible to work in any shift – Requirement is to work in US Shift
Roles and Responsibilities

  • Perform end to end closing activities including reconciliation and entries in RTR Process
  • Ensure that performance service metrics are met & in time
  • Assigned and accountable for Cost Accounting Functional areas of responsibility / deliverables
  • Responding to Inter co specific queries, resolving issues in the daily business activities
  • Seeking advice and escalating issues which are beyond scope of work
  • Co-operation with supervisors & process champions to improve processes & deliver higher quality service
  • To ensure compliance with business policy, contractual requirements & standard accounting procedures
  • Participating in the continuous improvement programme ? Other duties as stipulated by the supervisors ? Guiding & training of other team members. ? Have a good knowledge on Operational maturity framework & the key control metrices.
